The Magnums (Benefiting the Middletown Rotary)

The Magnums are ‘Rock done right!’ They roll up in classic cars with vintage guitars and keep the audience energized, dancing, festive and engaged. This band covers the classics from the 70’s like David Bowie and Led Zeppelin to the 80’s with Men at Work and Big Country.

This is a benefit concert for the Middletown Rotary Club. Tickets sold help benefit local charities like Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Middie Olympics, and Dictionaries to all 3rd Graders. Come out - have a great time for a great cause.

Cincinnati Transit Authority returns to the Sorg Opera House with the sounds of ‘Chicago.’ CTA is an eight piece band paying tribute to the great horn driven sound of Chicago Transit Authority. Originating in Cincinnati, the band consists of some of the areas best Rock, Jazz, and Blues musicians who perform renditions of the iconic Chicago tunes, concentrating on the Terry Kath era.

The hard bop-oriented group recreates the swinging sounds of the classic era, performing compositions that span an entire century of music, including the classics. MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Hocus Pocus Halloween is putting a spell on you and is back for it's 4th year of free, family fun! Come run "amuck, amuck, amuck" with us in downtown Middletown on Sunday, October 13th as we host THE family fun festival of the season!

Join the Sanderson Sisters as we kick the day off outside on S. Main Street (between Central Ave & 1st Ave) from 2 p.m. to Dusk. Enjoy Hocus Pocus themed fun, food & craft vendors, dance troupes, magic & illusion show, pumpkin carvers, meet Binx the cat, fun music, Howl-o-ween dog costume contest & parade, kids games and activities and more!

Of course, the day wraps up with a free screening of the full length feature film, Hocus Pocus, inside the gorgeous Sorg Opera House! The Hocus Pocus Family Fun Festival is FREE and made possible by our thanks to the awesome support of the Middletown Community Foundation!
