SORG aims to provide programming and services that make an essential contribution to the cultural economy, economic revitalization, education, and quality of life of Middletown, Ohio and its region.

Our Mission

To become a center for, and partner in, the greater cultural, historical and economic communities of Middletown and the region

“It is encouraging to see additional private investment in our Downtown area. The historic Sorg Opera House has served Middletown for over 125 years; it’s exciting to hear of plans to restore this important piece of our historic fabric tied to the arts in our community,” .
— Larry Mulligan, Jr., Mayor City of Middletown
